Are you a dynamic and experienced Finance Systems Manager with some Unit4/Agresso experience, looking for an exciting short-term opportunity? Join our prestigious client in East London and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their Finance application services.

Title: Finance Systems Manager (Unit4 Agresso).
Start Date: ASAP.
Duration: Permanent.
Location: East London Hybrid Working. 2 days a week in the office.
Salary: c&£52,000 - £58,000 + excellent pension and generous holiday allowance.

About the Role: As a Finance Systems Manager, you will be at the heart of their Finance and Accounting Management System, overseeing card-present and card-not-present payment systems, banking systems, and business intelligence reporting services. You will work closely with the Head of Enterprise Systems to develop strategies that align with the client&'s strategic aims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Finance Department: Build and maintain strong relationships with the Finance team to deliver top-notch services.
• Ensure Quality and Security: Deliver a quality experience across all Finance applications and ensure rigorous security measures for Finance systems and data.
• Stay Ahead of Technology Trends: Identify emerging technology trends that enhance staff experience and plan their adoption and integration.
• Data Management: Develop and implement innovative ways to exploit, link, and deliver data from various enterprise applications.
• System Development: Lead the development and implementation of information architectures supporting Finance systems.

• Expertise and Proficiency: Demonstrated ability in developing Finance application services, ensuring they meet the strategic needs of our client.
• Continuous Improvement: Manage and enhance the effectiveness, impact, and outcomes of Finance applications across complex projects.
• Technical Partnership: Work with the Finance management team to establish and maintain technical and service standards for Finance systems.
• Performance Management: Plan, manage, and review performance in consultation with the Head of Enterprise Systems.
• Team Leadership: Manage, develop, and mentor a specialist team to deliver high-performance, customer-focused services.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation of resources (people and finance) to meet targets and deadlines, using industry best practices.
• Support Provision: Manage effective 2nd and 3rd line application support.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Educational Background: Degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Project Management: PRINCE2, MSP, Agile qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Unit4 ERP financial system, ideally in a cloud environment, with experience in migrating from on-premises to Unit4 Cloud.
