Contract Test Analyst, Postman, Azure DevOps SQL, SIT. 
 
Our client requires an experienced Test Analyst with Utilities/energy market experience, ideally with an understanding of Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS) and the ability to work with Postman, Azure DevOps, SQL, SIT to start ASAP, hybrid working, in scope of IR35. 
 
Job Purpose.  As the Test Analyst, you are responsible for developing and executing test cases and test scripts in line with the requirements, identifying and tracking defects, and working collaboratively with our client&'s Scrum teams and third-party technical and business stakeholders to contribute to project successes within defined timelines. 
 
Job title:              Test Analyst/ System Tester/ Test Engineer. 
Term:                   6-month contract. 
Location:            Hybrid / Remote working.  MUST BE UK BASED.  
Day rate:             &£400 - £425pd in scope of IR35. 
Start:                    ASAP. 
 
Accountability/Key Responsibilities. 

• Attend agile ceremonies as part of scrum team. 
• Work with Business Analysts to understand tasks and advise estimated time.  
• Write Test scripts / Execute tests.  
• Identify and track defects.  
• System Integration Testing / Functional Testing. 

 
MUST have Skills and experience required:  

• 5+ years&' experience in testing / Functional Testing / System Integration Testing.
• MUST HAVE Utilities/energy market experience, ideally with an understanding of Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement (MHHS). 
• MUST have worked in Azure DevOps or a similar tool
• MUST have solid experience in writing SQL statements
• MUST have Postman experience
• MUST have worked in System Integration Testing (SIT).
• MUST have experience in performance/load/volume testing
• Proficient in designing and executing test cases and scripts in tools like SOAP UI, Postman or Loadrunner
• Defect logging and management experience / Ability to capture and store evidence of test execution
• Quick Learner able to hit the ground running with solid understanding of the software development life cycle Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
• Excellent written && verbal communication skills / analytical and problem-solving skills
