This role requires someone with a strong blend of delivery leadership, stakeholder management and technical understanding, particularly around software development and integration delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, balancing project delivery with operational priorities.
  • Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Own delivery plans, priorities, resource allocation and risk management activities.
  • Oversee and improve service delivery processes, ticket management and operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across software development and integration services.
  • Establish and maintain delivery reporting, KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Ensure effective transition of solutions from project delivery into ongoing operational support.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery practices and promote collaborative ways of working across teams.
  • Identify, manage and mitigate delivery risks, issues and dependencies.

About You

You will be an experienced Delivery Manager or Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully delivering software development and integration projects within complex environments.

Essential Experience

  • Demonstrable experience managing the end-to-end delivery of software development projects.
  • Strong practical, hands-on project management experience within software delivery environments.
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and support.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, architects, support teams and third-party suppliers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, workstreams and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
  • Strong experience in planning, forecasting, resource management and delivery governance.
  • Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies and change throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating and presenting delivery reports, KPIs and performance metrics to senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies and modern software delivery practices.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience delivering systems integration projects.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and integration platforms.
  • Experience working with service management frameworks such as ITIL.
  • Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or ITIL.
  • Experience with delivery and service management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or ServiceNow.

What's on Offer?

  • Opportunity to play a key role in a major technology transformation programme.
  • Collaborative and supportive working environment.
  • Flexible hybrid working arrangements.
  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunity to influence and improve software delivery practices across the organisation.

If you are a delivery-focused professional with strong software project management experience and a practical understanding of the SDLC, we'd love to hear from you.
