We are looking for a motivated and organised Electrical Project Manager / Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role involving both office-based responsibilities and frequent visits to nationwide project sites. You will oversee and support the electrical elements of solar and wind projects, from design and installation to maintenance and optimisation.
- Deliver High and Low Voltage (HV/LV) electrical installation work as needed across projects
- Support and perform planned/reactive maintenance on operational sites
- Lead or assist in electrical design (HV and LV), plant specification, and coordination with external HV design partners
- Analyse site performance data to identify opportunities for optimisation
- Proactively diagnose and resolve electrical faults
- Produce high-quality designs, technical reports, and documentation
- Participate in rota-based remote monitoring of renewable energy sites, including occasional weekend cover
- City && Guilds 2391 (or equivalent)
- Level 3 Technical/Vocational Qualification or Diploma
- BS7671 18th Edition certification
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and process-driven approach
- Effective communication and organisational skills
- Competent IT skills and computer literacy
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Flexibility to travel and work across the UK, including evenings/weekends when required
- High Voltage experience
- Previous work in PV system design, installation, and maintenance
- Experience with onshore wind installations
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with communications/network setup
- HV Authorised Person / Switching Course
- 18th Edition Amendment 2 certification
