QA Engineer – Dev in Test SDET (Contract)
 
We&’re looking for a QA Engineer (Dev in Test) to join on a 6-month contract, starting immediately. You’ll be working on building a scalable, parallel test framework designed to be invoked by non-technical staff, enabling automation and supporting a repeatable greenfield architecture. This framework will be deployed into a serverless environment at cloud scale.

Location:         South Yorkshire | Hybrid | Fully Remote (UK-based only). 
Duration;          6-Month Contract
Start:                 ASAP
Rate:                  c&£400–£450 per day In Scope of IR35
 
What You’ll Bring

• Proven QA Engineer – Dev in Test SDET
• Strong TypeScript skills
• Solid experience with BDD (Cucumber / Gherkin)
• Background in serverless environments
• Experience with parallel test environments
• Skilled in test/data provisioning and teardown
• Deep understanding of test runners and test reporting
• Strong CICD pipeline experience
• Proven ability to elicit acceptance criteria
• Track record of championing test adoption
• BSc in Computer Science
