Solutions Architecture Consultant (Repairs & Asset Management – Housing)
Contract: Outside IR35
Rate: Negotiable on experience. 
Location: UK (Remote / Hybrid – occasional onsite workshops)
Duration: 6 months (extension likely)

Engagement Overview 
A UK organisation is delivering a property services transformation programme involving multiple system changes and integration across the technology landscape. The scope includes delivery of end-to-end solutions across:
 

  • Repairs & Maintenance 
  • Asset Management and Stock Condition 
  • Compliance systems 
  • Implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for customer service and service request management
 
High-level architecture guidance is already in place, and implementation partners are engaged to configure and deliver changes across existing systems.
 
Scope of Services
An experienced Solutions Architecture Consultant is required to take ownership of end-to-end solution design across Repairs and Asset Management workstreams. The consultant will produce delivery-ready solution documentation and planning outputs to enable implementation partners and internal stakeholders to execute configuration and integration activity.
 
Key Deliverables
  • End-to-end solution architecture designs for Repairs and Asset Management
  • Integration mapping across platforms, including data flows and ownership 
  • Data mastering approach and movement principles across systems 
  • Property hierarchy alignment recommendations across the technology landscape 
  • High-level and detailed solution design documentation (HLD/LLD where required) 
  • A delivery-aligned task plan showing sequencing, dependencies and ownership 
  • RACI matrix and key governance artefacts to support execution 
  • Requirements packs to support supplier configuration activity
 
Required Experience
  • Extensive experience as a Solutions Architect on complex transformation programmes
  •  Strong housing sector expertise (housing associations / social housing)
  •  Proven delivery of repairs and/or asset management solutions end-to-end
  • Strong understanding of property services processes and system design 
  • Integration architecture experience (APIs, middleware, data movement) 
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across vendors and internal teams 
  • Strong documentation and design authority experience
 
Desirable Experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dataverse / Power Platform experience 
  • Compliance systems exposure (gas, fire, asbestos, electrical testing) 
  • TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks
